Cwynhild Faer
Former soldier who volunteered to participate in the Valhalla Program which transformed her into a cyborg supersoldier through the use of cybernetic implants and psychological conditioning. Upon learning that the government’s post-war plan to “clip” Valkyries, or deactivate their tech, was actually meant to cripple or kill them, she along with the remaining unclipped Valkyries refused to participate and became fugitives from the law. She now works with Amon Thorn and Jake Edwards to help give her kind a brighter future. |

Fiona Nightingale
Daughter of Ezekiel Nightingale. Bold and observant, she only recently graduated secondary school and is still unsure of what her place in the universe is. |

Jake Edwards
Former military pilot assigned to the Valkyrie Brigade. After the Valhalla program ended, he married one of the supersoldiers only to have her die a few months later at the hands of the government’s clipping program. When the remaining unclipped Valkyries went on the run he decided to help them, partnering with Cwynhild and Amon Thorn in their efforts to aid the fugitive ex-soldiers. |

Amon Thorn
Robotics genius who designed and helped implement the technology used in the Valhalla Program. Unhappy with how the Martian government treated his creations after the war ended, he now works with Cwynhild and Jake to help unclipped Valkyries stay alive, with an ultimate goal of building a spaceship and retro-engineering Mentakan portal technology so that the Valkyries can leave Mars and settle on an uninhabited, terrestrial planet in another solar system. |

Ezekiel Nightingale
Second richest man on Mars and father of Fiona Nightingale. Owner of Nightingale Corp., which specializes in the production of computer, robotics and defense technology and controls much of the flow of raw materials for those industries. A descendant of some of the original Martian colonists, he considers himself a patriot and strongly supported Martian independence from Earth. Much of the tech used in the Valkyrie program was produced by his corporation. |
